It has always been our dream to open an Italian Restaurant.


Daniele Ruffolo grew up in Milan and puts a piece of his heart on every plate he prepares. He is the Sous Chef of Buono Restaurant & Bar and as his parents are originally from the south of Italy, giving his dishes have a touch from all over Italy. Six years ago, he arrived in Australia and met his two co-owners working in the same restaurant.

Fabio Magliano comes from a small village close to the Amalfi Coast and from there he first moved to London where he had the great opportunity to work as a Manager at the Michelin Star Restaurant, Locanda Locatelli. This Restaurant taught him that even if you work in a high-pressure Restaurant you should always respect and encourage each other at work. Fabio is very passionate about wines. Once he arrived in Australia, he completed a course as a sommelier.


Cinzia Buono was born and raised in Switzerland as her parents migrated from Italy. At a very young age she started to travel the world. When she was 19, she came to Australia for 4 months to improve her English and absolutely fell in love with this country. Going back to her office Job was very hard for her. It took her 10 years to find the courage to quit everything and finally move to Australia where she found a passion for hospitality.
